The Hair Cut!!!

Once in a while I get brave, and this week I decided to be that. I decided to literally chop my hair off, and go for something I have never done. I was a little nervous, but I actually love it... gratefully! So now I am all prepared for the warm texas weather to come...

Baylor adventures with Dan and Lesli!

So because the weather has been rough, one of the cold nights Baylor had a free admissions night for the baylor men's basketball team playing Nebraska. Brett had the night off and so Dan and Lesli were troopers to come with us! And let me just say they have the baylor ways down! They belonged down of the floor with all the yellow and black jersey people! We had a lot of fun, and the good news is baylor won that night too!

Unfortunately I am not quite as tall as Brittney Griner.... just barely too short...

Brett is a little closer to being like Perry Jones III....

Proof that we were actually there.... with the Lancasters...

How desperate were we....

Heading off to one of Brett's game, we had to go Abilene for a playoff football game, as we were driving the gas tank kept getting lower, and we were going through many small towns on our way there.  We finally decided to get gas at this old old gas station, we were wondering if it would even work. Brett was lost how to even use it, but we figured it out and laughed the whole time we were doing it, just because we hadn't seen anything like this before. The best part of the story is that when we got back on the road, about 100 feet down the road was a nice brand new shell gas station that we could of used a lot eaiser.... but in retrospect wouldn't have been half the fun....

Brett: Just Do It!!

We were on our way home from the honeymoon and stopped at the Round Rock Shopping Outlet Stores. And outside of Nike They have pictures on their windows of different athletes that Brett loves... So this is him being those players!! I think he does a pretty good job!

YES!!!!!!!!!

Neighbors again!

This all begins last fall when Sister Bailey received her mission call to the Texas Fort Worth Mission. She attended our reception in Farmington, and the journey began. We knew she was coming out in February and we are fortunate to have Sisters in our ward serving. We joked she would come to our area first so we could take care of her. We had signed up to go out with the sisters on friday after transfers, and feeding them on monday as well. Lindsey left to go out with the Sisters and came to find out that Sister Bailey had arrived in Waco first. When Brett found out he was exactic and called our whole family who called hers, so good news travels quick! We were able to take lots of pictures and send them off to her family to show she is doing well! But it is just funny because her family literally lives 3 houses from Brett! What a small world...

Her first Sunday at church

Having the Sisters over for dinner... well currently dessert...

The Blanket that her sweet grandma made us for our wedding...
